Friends of St. Paul Baseball is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the opportunity for participation in the game of Baseball within the City of St. Paul by raising funds to update and enhance existing baseball fields, make capital improvements, provide on-going operational support, and to build additional baseball facilities if warranted.
Every dollar benefits the more than 5500 St. Paul Rookie & RBI Program, Little League, Babe Ruth, VFW, Legion and Amateur baseball participants each year.
Since 1999, contributions to Friends of St. Paul Baseball helped make the following improvements at Toni Stone Field (Dunning Baseball Complex):
- New scoreboard.
- New dugouts.
- New batting cages and pitching mounds.
- Resurfacing of the infield and leveled outfield.
- Contributed $5,000 to West Minnehaha Twins Community Fund Field Project.
Immediate plans for new funds will complete the lighting project on Toni Stone Field at the Dunning Baseball Complex. The installation of new state of the art lights from Musco Lighting will double the capacity for youth and adult games on the field and provide new and existing baseball teams with a continued quality playing experience.
